Farm Life

I went home last weekend to hang with my parents and sister. In college I really enjoyed finally putting down my textbooks and projects at the end of the semester or for the weekend and going home. 

I still really like getting to leave the city for a bit and go wayyyyy out to the country. It's incredibly quiet. The drive out is beautiful and I get to have hours and hours to think and drink coffee.

HIGHLIGHT: PUPPY THERAPY

My parent's labs just had puppies!!!

I didnt move from the grass for 5 hours.

1. They scuttle around on their bellies like little pigglets!

2. They all smell like fresh puppies and are sooooo soft!

3. They basically just eat and sleep, but! they stayed awake for me to play with them :) 

I will just leave all of these here...

(Also they are for sale for a very low price. BUT ONLY. If you have a backyard and they won't be in a cage all day....) 

Every time I go home, there seem to always be a litter of kittens! There were two kittens, but they somewhat got overlooked this time...

We have two horses! I used to ride them, but now I just feed them apples and watch them play in the field :) 

Really quick before I left, we picked apples at a neighbors farm! I am going to maybe make a pie or a crisp this week!

And then I filled up my little car with gas and went home to Des Moines and my cozy apartment.
